So yesterday on my hunt for a new car, I looked at a TLX. Yes, it's a bit out of my price range, but Acura used to offer killer lease deals on TSX's, so i figured if it's good enough, I may be able to get a good lease on a TLX.

As it turns out, the lease deals for TLX's are pretty stale right now.

As for the TLX, itself. There's not a whole lot to say here - it was a bit of a snooze-fest.

Exterior: The headlights are striking, but that's about it. However, the i4 I tested had the smaller wheels, which really made the car look cheap.

Interior: It looks like every other Acura/Honda Product. While it's definitely a pleasant place to be, nothing set itself apart from what else is out there. It was put together nicely, however. But I don't like how I have to get wood trim.

Driving: I drove the base engine. It actually did have some pickup, but it was loud and whiney. The transmission shifts too quickly and even in manual-mode, it won't let you rev too much.

Technology: The only reason I'd want the car. Great nav interface, lane deviation warning, adaptive cruise control, etc. You name it, chances are the TLX has it.

Overall: I left the dealer just about at indifferent to the TLX as I was when I arrived.

I feel like this may be the Camry of the class...

I hear it's smaller than the TSX inside... which boggles me. The TSX was already pretty small.

Very interesting opinion. I have been looking at the TLX as well but I was worried I was just getting a fancier Civic (nothing wrong with that, just too boring, common, for me). Any opinion on handling? I think it is a good looking car but seems, like you said, flat.

I was driving a FWD base model with the tech package. The test drive didn't have any times where I can say I challenged the car in the handling department.

It's just too boring in base form, at least.

I've been seeing quite a lot of these, based on looks a lone, I quite like the TLX.

Fancier Civic is the ILX.

The headlights are very cool looking, but I think the rest is a bit of a letdown.

But then again, I thought this was ugly as sin when it first came out, now I can say I think it's one of the best looking cars in it's class. Plus, you can/could get it with AWD, a big engine, and a 6-Speed Manual.
